Daytona Beach, Fla. (February 18th, 2022) - G2G Racing was poised for a great start, but mechanical issues plagued both teams at the Daytona International Speedway.

The weekend started off strong, unloading with great optimism. Both teams made adjustments to their trucks, preparing for technical inspection. Expectations grew, as inspection started, inching closer for both machines to hit the track for the one and only practice session.

Both Matt Jaskol and Johnny Sauter climbed into their LiftKits4Less.com and AutoParts4Less.com Toyota Tundras to jump on track first.

Sauter was the first to navigate the 2.5-mile speedway, jumping into the draft, shaking down his truck.

Jaskol shortly followed, making single truck runs. As the minutes ticked away, he began to gain a better feel and understanding of the historic speedway.

At the conclusion of practice, Sauter recorded a lightning quick lap of 48.443 seconds, ninth quickest, while Jaskol recorded a fast lap of 50.861 seconds. Good enough for thirty-fourth quickest.

The next morning, both teams began making adjustments to their LiftKits4Less.com and AutoParts4Less.com Tundras for qualifying.

"I think we will be okay," Jaskol said before qualifying. "Tim (Silva) has made some major adjustments on our truck, and I am excited to hold (the pedal) to the floor and qualify."

Sauter was a man of few words, as he mentally prepared for the session.

As the green flag waved for qualifying, both drivers focused on the task at hand: Getting their trucks into the show.

Both Sauter and Jaskol took to the track, recording laps of 52.553 seconds and 52.415 seconds, respectively. As the session concluded, Sauter was placed 36th for the 250-mile event, while Jaskol was not fast enough to make the field.

Although the team was disappointed, they shifted their focus to the evening's race.

As the race neared, Sauter was focused on driving to the front.

The green flag waved, and Sauter settled in, working to move forward. He made his way inside the Top-25, then trouble reared its ugly head.

Sauter came across the radio, reporting that his Tundra power plant was down on power. The team began to scramble, coming up with a solution to fix the truck.

Fortunately, there was an accident on the speedway, slowing the pace, allowing Sauter to make his way onto pit road. Quickly, the team went into action, diagnosing the issue, as one of the plug wires had broken. The broken part was fixed and was sent back out on track. In the entire exchange, he had lost a lap.

The race resumed and Sauter settled back in, making up the ground he lost.

Sauter navigated to the Lucky Dog position at the end of the second stage, when his day took a turn for the worse.

As the field took the white flag for the stage, Sauter's truck shut off. He brought it to the attention of the crew. They then proceeded to push his truck behind the wall to diagnose the problem. It was discovered there was a short in the electrical line for the truck’ Something that could not be repaired at the track. Therefore, he dropped out of the event. He was credited with a 33rd place finish.

The next race for G2G Racing will be the Bucked Up 200 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway on March 4th. The team will look to rebound from Daytona, with Matt Jaskol back behind the wheel and another driver will maintain Sauter’s seat, as he will alternate the season between G2G Racing and ThorSport Racing.

February 3rd, 2022 (Mooresville, NC) - G2G Racing will field two full-time trucks in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. The team is owned by current NASCAR driver, Tim Viens, and business partner Bill Shea. In addition to the team's front office, Tim Silva will serve as the team's General Manager and Crew Chief. The team will also utilize the numbers 46 and 47 for the 2022 campaign.

Matt Jaskol will pilot the No. 46 for the entire season, with support from Auto Parts 4 Less, and Lift Kits 4 Less serving as his primary sponsors. 

“I can’t fully express how grateful I am to have this opportunity with G2G Racing and have the continued support from AutoParts4less.com & LiftsKits4Less.com," Jaskol stated. "All I’ve wanted is a chance to work with a team for a full season, and it looks like I’m finally going to get to do just that!”

Johnny Sauter will pilot the team's No, 47 entry at Daytona, as part of his 13-race schedule with G2G Racing. He will also carry the Lift Kits 4 Less colors for Daytona.

Throughout the 2022 campaign, the No. 47 will be driven by three different drivers. One of them obviously being Sauter, while the other two being Roger Reuse, and team owner Tim Viens splitting time in the seat. Boat Gadget will serve as the primary sponsor for Viens, while Reuse's sponsors will be announced at a later date.
