RINGER, SAM LECOMTE TO RUN COTA FOR G2G RACING

Mooresville, N.C. (March 25, 2022) - Sam LeComte will pilot the No. 47 Mission Tortilla Toyota this weekend at Circuit of the Americas (COTA).

LeComte is a road course ringer in the purest form, running TransAm races in recent years. He is a consistent front runner, battling the likes of 1988 NASCAR Cup Series champion Bill Elliott, and 1995 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Mike Skinner. He has also become a specialist in recent years at COTA; running up front, collecting many podium finishes every visit the TransAm series makes to the road course.

He also brings NASCAR experience, attempting two races last season with CMI Motorsports. Both efforts came up short, just missing the field at COTA and Watkins Glen. His efforts were dampened, due to the wet course conditions, causing many big names in the sport to struggle with adverse racing conditions.

LeComte will look to pilot his machine into the 36-truck field this weekend, with a strong Toyota Tundra underneath him. G2G Racing will also look to build off the team’s successful weekend at the reconfigured Atlanta Motor Speedway, where both drivers Matt Jaskol and Brennan Poole achieved season bests in their Toyota Tundras.
