Mooresville, N.C. (September 28, 2022) - This weekend at Talladega, our country’s colors will fly on the No. 46 Toyota Tundra, as Turning Point USA joins G2G Racing.
“I am very excited for this,” team owner and driver Tim Viens said. “I am happy to represent Turning Point (USA), as they bring awareness and help educate individuals on freedom, free markets, and limited government.”
Viens, who was a large part of the re-election efforts in NASCAR for Donald Trump, will pilot the team’s No.46 entry this weekend.
“It is a great pairing,” Viens added. “Myself and a group trying to accomplish the same goal: Educating people on freedom and what that means.”
Viens is no stranger to NASCAR competition, competing in the NASCAR Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series. He has made 14 truck starts, along with 4 Xfinity starts since 2015. His best finish in the truck series came in 2015, at the Dover Motor Speedway, where he finished 23rd.
In Xfinity competition, in his 4 starts, he has achieved a career-best finish of 18th at the Daytona International Speedway in 2020.
